About TeamAg
TeamAg is a consultancy and training business led by Páidí Kelly.
Páidí Kelly, Director
I’m a consultant and farmer who is passionate about the dairy industry and helping people achieve their goals.
I’m actively involved in Crinagree Dairies in partnership with James Murphy. This is a dairy farming business we set up in 2016 and are now milking on a number of leased farms around Charleville, Co. Cork. The first-hand experience I have gained here has taught me invaluable business and life lessons that I can use to add value for the people I work with through TeamAg.
From 2014 to 2020 I worked in Teagasc Moorepark as a researcher in Collaborative Farming and People Management. Moorepark is one of the leading pasture-based dairying research centres globally and I got great exposure to scientific best-practice in all aspects of dairy farming.
I also previously worked as Dairy Specialist in the Irish Farmers Journal where I wrote articles on all aspects of dairy farming and met many top farmers around the country.
I hold a 1st Class Honours Degree in Ag Science from University College Dublin, which included a four-month work-placement in New Zealand – both on a dairy farm and in DairyNZ (Teagasc equivalent in New Zealand).
Originally, I’m from a 50-cow dairy farm in Tipperary where my parents and brother are now in partnership milking 120 cows. Growing up on a small farm gave me strong attention to detail and I take huge pride in seeing how this farm has developed and can provide a great income and lifestyle for my family. I’m married to Aimee and we live in Mallow Co. Cork. Aimee has been working with me in both Crinagree Dairies and TeamAg since January 2022 which has been a brilliant experience for us.
Aimee Stapleton, Education and Operations Support
I joined TeamAg in 2022 to bring my experience of managing, facilitating and evaluating high-quality education and training programmes to the agri-sector.
I started my career as a scientist and hold a first class honours degree in Applied Physics and a PhD in Biophysics from the University of Limerick. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas and communicating them clearly and simply. These strengths led me away from the lab and towards science communication and project management. From 2017 to 2022, I supported 400+ scientists in two world-leading research centres (APC Microbiome Ireland in UCC and SSPC in UL) to communicate their research to the public effectively.
I grew up on my parent’s dairy farm in Toomevara, Co. Tipperary but initially dismissed farming as a career. Since becoming involved in Crinagree Dairies, and joining Déirí le Chéile (female dairy discussion group) I’ve seen the enormous potential of dairying and met the most incredible farm families. My career story has come full circle by joining TeamAg and now I enjoy providing project management and training support for the business.
Ashley Primrose
Ashley is the fifth generation to grow up on her family’s Dairy Farm in Te Puke, New Zealand. She completed her Agriculture Science Degree at Massey University in 2019 and was successful in joining the DairyNZ Graduate programme in 2020. For four years, Ashley has worked as the South Taranaki Extension Partner for DairyNZ, running discussion groups and large-scale extension events throughout the region.
Ashley relocated to Ireland in 2024 to work with Páidí Kelly at TeamAg and looks forward to learning about Irish Dairy farming systems. Ashley has a passion for supporting dairy farmers to be the best they can be via providing high quality discussion groups, 1:1 consulting and training courses.
